ELOQUII is a vertically integrated e-commerce destination for contemporary, fast fashion sizes 14-28. We bring trend-driven, feminine, polished fashion from the runways to our customer, working on a compressed design cycle and dropping new styles every week.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager for Creative Content & Production Management, this New York City based position will be responsible for supporting planning and production of eComm and editorial photography. As a key part of their role, they will be responsible for managing the day-to-day organization of merchandise needed for photo shoots, this will require an understanding of collections and calendar tracking and styling needs to ensure the efficiency in shoot schedule.

This role is critical to shoot production and will be expected to support the Sr. Manager for Creative Content & Production Management as well as any editorial consultants working on a shoot to ensure flawless execution of all photoshoots by ensure all production needs are met including working with the photographers, hair/makeup artists, models, to help effectively deliver brand right imagery. The ideal candidate will over index in organizational skills, task and communication management, optimizing process, and will have the ability develop a creative eye over time.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience successfully managing and overseeing photo shoot production. They will also ensure effective cross-functional integration, cooperation, and execution, as well as foster an innovative, spirited environment that consistently achieves breakthrough performance. The successful candidate will bring a “roll up the sleeves”, extremely flexible and “can do attitude”.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures consistent application of the online brand and brand voice in all aspects of their support role in photoshoots and production
  • Will aim to find opportunities for improvements in the production process
  • Manage the monthly, weekly, and daily planning and tactical execution of creative content in partnership with key stakeholders across creative, merchandising, buying, analytics and marketing functions.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of studio contents for set, as well as a reference resource with time management / how long things actually take to do, i.e.: build a set, hair and MU, styling, etc.
  • Devise and maintain a system to organize props, backdrops, floors, paper rolls, etc….all production tools & resources needed for photoshoots.
  • Ensures post-production follow-ups are executed timely, such as managing external retoucher communication on all imagery, working with tight and shifting deadlines to achieve business results, ensuring timely follow up post shoot and ensuring all imagery is delivered on time and to expectations.
  • Support communication process for content briefs, ensuring all applicable cross functional and third-parties receive the most update to date information as timely as possible; as well as mobilize cross-functionally to plan and produce requested assets in required timelines
  • Executes processes efficiently while maintaining established department guidelines, and ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Stays current with the design and fashion industry including global and consumer trends, translating these to ELOQUII
  • Ensures communications of concepts and trends to cross-functional partners and their potential impact to the business
  • Adheres to budgets while maximizing efficiencies whenever possible
  • Anticipates and resolves creative challenges by using appropriate resources and/or solutions
  • Effectively communicates and collaborate with peers and leaders from other divisions as well as hired freelance to ensure project outcomes align with priorities and direction
  • Production responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
  • Own Sample management, ensuring all samples are checked-in ready for shoot dates and lined up based on priorities on rack and ready to go prior to scheduled shoots; ensuring any follow up is taken on missing samples (w/Production team)
  • Following and update tracking chart of what has been shot
  • Research/rent backdrops and props
  • Book vans/hotel rooms/ etc. for location shoots
  • Send call sheets for all shoots
  • Help with talent booking for all shoots
  • Order any needed supplies for photo studio, inclusive of lunch orders, any supplies critical to the photo studio or needed to execute photoshoots
  • Help with cost tracking/new vendor set up/expense reports
  • Identify opportunities to increase departmental efficiencies in support of goals and objectives
  • Organize and maintain all creative assets and inventory all projects post-completion
  • Manages uploading, archiving, and retrieval of all photo assets and maintain in-depth knowledge of where all assets are stored across all digital storage platforms and ensures all parties that need-to-know status are kept up to date
  • Provide a holistic view of all the resources for the photo studio and availability at any one time

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor s degree in Design, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 2 year’s experience in creative project management, including graphic design OR 5 year’s experience in creative project management, including graphic design.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, and precise attention to detail
  • Attuned to the fashion industry—aware of trends in retail and publishing (blogs, social media, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills; responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment
  • Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • High energy, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work under deadline pressure
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google docs, Google Drive) strongly desired
  • Experience developing and managing a photo shoot budget
  • Ability to understand business issues and link results to organizational effectiveness

  • E-commerce experience is necessary
