Job Description:
The Logistics Manager owns everything related to transportation & logistics in our supply chain organization. This individual is responsible for managing all aspects of import and domestic transportation and logistics from factories to distribution. This critical role has a direct impact on growth, margin and profitability.

Manage all aspects of import and domestic transportation from factories to in-market distribution nodes (Amazon FBA, 3PL) and between nodes
Manage freight forwarder and carrier relationships; create and book shipments including ocean containers, air freight, and domestic trucking across all carriers
Ensure ocean, air, parcel, and trucking contracts are in place; lead periodic RFP processes to get the best possible rates and SLAs from carriers
Execute all daily tasks related to shipments, conduct general problem solving and troubleshoot issues with freight, deliveries, etc.
Measure logistics partner performance against KPIs
Document supply chain/ logistics processes, create an inbound routing guide
Advise the team regarding logistics issues including but not limited to exams, freight claims, missing/ incorrect documentation, overages & shortages, invoicing, customs
